This past weekend I was able to get a VIP look inside the brand new Hollywood Walgreen’s at the historic Sunset & Vine. This is the 8,000th Walgreen’s in the country and it’s 6th flagship store. Now, before you ask yourself, why is she writing about a Walgreen’s? Let me tell you, this is the sassiest Walgreen’s on the planet! It’s more of a lifestyle store and let me tell you, it’s the lifestyle you want to be living. It’s not a drug store, it’s not just a pharmacy, and it’s not just for magazines, chips, and a soda either. This is a Health & Wellness store of sorts and you can get just about anything you want here.
Let me give you the Hollywood Tour…
The LOOK Boutique is a high end beauty bar of sorts. It offers a variety of upscale brands that you would not normally find in a drugstore. Britain’s leading skincare line No7 created by Boots is now available in Walgreens for the first time! The LOOK Boutique will also have trained beauty advisors on hand to offer guidance finding solutions for every customers needs. You can even get your eyebrows done at the RAMY brow bar!
Sushi, yes please! There is fresh hand-rolled sushi and sashimi being prepared daily. And it looks A-mazing. There is also an UpMarket cafe offering premium coffee, delicious desserts and a juice & smoothie bar featuring fresh fruits and vegetables. The frozen yogurt alone makes this place with the trip especially if you have with kids in tow.
The Wine. Over 700 fine wines to choose from. Oh and a virtual bartender kiosk that lets you choose a cocktail of your choice and will print out your shopping list.
Healthy Meals for a Mom on the Move! I hate to cook and if there is ever a healthy meal to just heat up, I’m all in. Walgreens has a brand of quality food and meal options under the name Delish! These items are very reasonably price and super convenient to take home, heat and serve.
The Doctor is IN. Don’t worry, you can still get your prescriptions filled. The state of the art pharmacy come s with health guides, immunizations, health screenings, consultation rooms, an “Ask your pharmacist desk” and an Express Rx kiosks for fast and easy check out.
I’ve been a dedicated Walgreen’s fan since the day my first baby was born and they partnered with Snapfish. Every baby picture I have ever taken has been turned into albums on Snapfish because it is so easy for the out of state Grandma’s to print the exact pictures they want and simply pick up at their own Walgreen’s.
Now, I think I’m in love.
