OMD – Oh My Delicious! Ciao Bella Gelato

I can just imagine the Ciao Bella team sitting in bright orange, over-stuffed chairs at a long pink conference table with lime green and purple light fixtures hanging overhead.   I’m almost positive that right next to the espresso machine is a uber-fancy gelato machine, beautiful glass bowls and colorful spoons.  If there ever was a company I’d like to work for, I’m pretty sure it’s Ciao Bella Gelato. They love pink just as much as Savvy Sassy Moms so I am sure we’d get along just fine and I would have no problem being paid in product!

What is Gelato?
Technically, gelato is an Italian-style ice cream that contains less butterfat (a.k.a milkfat) and less air by volume—resulting in a denser, creamier and more flavorful frozen treat. However, Ciao Bella defines gelato as some seriously good tasting ice cream.

What is Sorbet?
Sorbet is water ice that is made up of fruit juice or puree and does not contain dairy.  Here at Ciao Bella we just call it yummy goodness, because we use 65-85% pure fruit to provide an intense flavor experience that can only be described as True-to-the-Fruit

They are portable and no scooping necessary, the spoon is right under the lid!  

Tahitian Vanilla, Tropically Smooth Mango, and Blood Orange
You may want to say Red Orange, because my daughter looked at me and said “Gross there’s Blood in it?”

Savvy Sassy Suggestion:
Bring a pint of blackberry cabernet to a get together with other mom’s or a dinner party.  It is cheaper ($5) than a cheap bottle of wine AND it makes a much better impression since it is considered a slightly more expensive ice cream.
